Getting ready for the new baby or babies is exciting, no doubt, but what most first-time mommy and daddies don’t realize is caring for the new bundle of joy(s) can be expensive. To help you save a little money that you can use to spoil your new arrival(s), here’s some free baby stuff for expecting moms or new moms (if you’ve already delivered your little blessing) for you to take advantage of.

Magnet Street offers expecting and new mommies free samples of the Life Moments baby products. You can choose from announcements or invitations (cards or magnets) for baby’s birth or the baby shower. They also have announcements and invitations for birthday parties, baptisms, christenings and more.
To get the free baby stuff from Magnet Street, browse their selections, choose the product you want, and customize it with your information and photo(s). In order to get free customized samples, you’ll be required to create a free Life Moments account, but it’s worth it in order to see the exact quality of the product with your actual photo and information.
Prenatal Vitamins
If you live near a Meijer pharmacy, take advantage of their free prenatal vitamin program. As long as you have a prescription from your doctor, you can get any one of these brands of prenatal vitamins free of charge, regardless of insurance or co-pay: NatalCare Plus, Ultra Natal Care, Natalcare Glosstab, NataTab Rx or Advanced NatalCare.
Breast Pump
Byram Healthcare is offering free breast pumps from popular brands such as Medela, Ameda, Spectra and Freemie. To select the breast pump you want, head to Byram’s website and follow the instructions from there. Since you have to select who your health insurance provider is, it appears that having health insurance is a requirement for this baby freebie.
Free Stuff for Baby
Books
It’s never too early to start reading to your little one. Yes, even as early as birth. Not only does reading allow you to bond with your baby, but there are many educational benefits as well. That being said, Dolly Parton encourages all parents to read to their children, and to help them out, through her Imagination Library program, she gives away free books to parents in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Republic of Ireland with children ages birth to five.
Unfortunately, as big as Dolly’s program is, it’s not available in all areas, so before you sign up, be sure to check if it’s in your area.
Enfamil Formula & More
Enfamil Family Beginnings is offering up to $400 in free gifts for expecting mothers. The gifts include goodies for both mommy and baby. You’ll receive belly badge stickers, Enfamil formula samples, coupons and so much more!

Not sure which brand of diapers is best for your little one? These companies are giving away free diaper samples: Huggies and Earth Baby. If you’d like more free diapers from Huggies, join their rewards program (also free). The Huggies Rewards program gives you chances to earn points that can later be exchanged for coupons that entitle you to free packages of diapers. You get 200 points just for signing up.
Gymboree Class Pass
This last one isn’t exactly free gifts for expecting mothers since it’s not really things you can use for baby. However, it can help with your little one’s development from his or her birth up to the age of 5. In addition, it promises fun, and what mommy doesn’t love to have fun with her precious gift from God?
The freebie is from Gymboree, and what they’re giving away are free classes for children ages 0-5. Through Gymboree’s classes, your baby will learn and socialize with others his or her age. If this is something you and baby will enjoy, you can sign up to get a free class pass from Gymboree today.
